- Create a project web page at http://www.fenics.org/wiki/foo
- Create a link to the project web page from the front page
- Add a short description on the projects page
- Get an account foo@fenics.org (*)
- Get an email alias foo@fenics.org (*)
- Set up the mailing list foo-dev@fenics.org (*)
- Set up a software directory at http://www.fenics.org/pub/software/foo/ (*)
- Add mail alias and mailing list to the contact page
- Set up bug tracking for the project
- Add manuals to the documentation page
- Add the latest release to the download page
- Add a news item at the front page (*)
- Code!
Each time a new release is made, remember to upload the release, update the download page, add a news item and send an email to the project mailing list. (This can all be automated with a little script, see the makedist scripts for FFC or DOLFIN.)
