FEniCS

We had a successful meeting in Chicago and with some concrete results that include the two new projects Sieve and Famms. Photos from the meeting are available here and here and copies of all the talks will be made available here.

New version of DOLFIN released. This release adds support for the new FFC BLAS mode that improves compile time and may improve run time for high-order forms. A number of minor bugs have been fixed and a new experimental SWIG-based Python interface: PyDOLFIN has been added.

New version of FFC released. This release adds a new BLAS mode that reduces (g++) compile time and may improve run time for high-order forms. The Python interface has also been improved and a new XML output format added.
